3 Easy Father’s Day Gift Ideas from the Kids
8th Jun 2015
Most children fully appreciate the joy of giving; especially when it means creating gifts for the people they truly love. Dad’s have the sweet tendency of holding on to gifts from their children for as long as they possibly can. Even when your children reach adulthood, daddy may still have that macaroni necklace you made in 2 nd grade in his nightstand. So round up the kids and let’s create something (or buy something) that stands the test of time. Here are some fun gifts kids can give to dad this Father’s Day.
1. Family Photos
They don’t call it a classic gift for nothing. With an 8 megapixel camera or higher built into just about every Smartphone, capturing photos of family is simple to do these days. Allow the kids to take creative direction of your family shot. They may choose to make a collage or customize their picture frame. No matter how simple or embellished the photo frame is, dad will be most impressed by the people he loves in the photo. This is a fun project for the whole family.
2. Photo Source & Tutorial – Southern Revivals
Not Ketchup Gourmet 4-Pack with Silicone Basting Brush – ($40)
I know what you’re thinking; condiments don’t stand the test of time. You’re right; an 8 oz bottle of anything won’t last forever, but finding a brand you love and creating memories to last does. Not Ketchup is of course NOT Ketchup. This is a gourmet dipping sauce made of prime tomatoes, tangy spicy blends that are sure to make your BBQ favorites all the more special. So when you’re dad is throwing down on the grill this summer he’ll reach for the flavor of the season for his burgers, sandwiches and steaks. You know what they say; the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Let’s be honest, teddy bears and cards are great but most people love gifts they can actually use.
3. Customizable T-Shirt – (Prices Vary)
Not every man is a fashionista, but you’d be hard pressed to find a man that can’t make use of a good old T-shirt. Customizing this timeless clothing item with vinyl print makes for a great Father’s Day gift. “World’s Greatest Dad” is cute, but choosing a funny phrase that dad always shares with the kids will make your gift all the more special. If you run into trouble finding a moms and pops embroidery or vinyl shop in your area, finding a digital supplier is as easy as a Google search. Kids will love coming up with fun phrases and even creating designs for dad’s new statement tee.

Alicia is wife, mother, and creator of Baby Elephant Ears. Baby Elephant Ears was created out of parental concern, not financial desire. In 2005, when their second child was an infant, he cried all the time and just couldn't seem to get comfortable.
After seeking advice and suggestion from the medical community and alternative medicine, they eventually ended up in the chiropractors office where their baby was successfully treated for asubluxation, discomfort most likely the result of the strain during labor, which was now being exacerbated by the normal lack of infant neck strength. Only proper neck, head, and back alignment would offer him relief. When they couldn't find a product to give their baby the necessary support, Alicia took matters into her own hands and crafted her own infant support pillow. The first Baby Elephant Ears was born!
