Finn is 6

Finn is 6

NO way did I ever imagine I would have a 6 year old little boy! I knew I'd have the baby...and then the toddler...but my mind doesn't go this far.

I mean, these are the kids I remember having!

This is the little boy going off to pre-school a couple of years ago...this is how I remember him!

Not this!

Although I'll take it...every boney, muscely piece of him!

Finn is such a blessing. He proved to love his sisters beyond anything in the world. A feeling I can identify with as my brother, Zach, used to dote on his sisters like no other.

Finn shows compassion and deep concern for people. He is typically the one to suggest a prayer for someone in need or a help where he sees fit.

Finn is an incredible sports fanatic. Any sport, any time for this kid. His most recent obsession is BMX and of course, his all time favorite, HOCKEY!

After having 4 children I realized that at each birth I remember a distinct feeling....but they were all different. With each of our girls it was a different feeling and with Finn...soooo different.

He stole my heart. At moment one. I loved him so incredibly deep at that very moment, but knew, almost as if I had a glimpse to the future, that he would steal that piece of my heart forever.

Either way, I'd give it to him.

Finn. What an amazing boy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BOY! YOU'RE 6!!!

Alicia is wife, mother, and creator of Baby Elephant Ears. Baby Elephant Ears was created out of parental concern, not financial desire. In 2005, when their second child was an infant, he cried all the time and just couldn't seem to get comfortable.

After seeking advice and suggestion from the medical community and alternative medicine, they eventually ended up in the chiropractors office where their baby was successfully treated for a subluxation, discomfort most likely the result of the strain during labor, which was now being exacerbated by the normal lack of infant neck strength. Only proper neck, head, and back alignment would offer him relief. When they couldn't find a product to give their baby the necessary support, Alicia took matters into her own hands and crafted her own infant support pillow. The first Baby Elephant Ears was born!
